You hold a residence authorisation issued in French Polynesia and you want to go to another French territory (Continental France, Overseas Departments and Regions and Overseas Collectivities):
Document checklist for short stays in French Polynesia (less than 3 months)
Case n°1: According to your nationality, you are exempted of the short-stay visa requirement (see list).
Case n°2: You are a national of another country you are not exempted of the short-stay visa requirement:
You may apply for a short-stay visa with the administration of the High Commission of the French Republic in French Polynesia at least 3 weeks (save in exceptional cases) before your departure for French Polynesia.
You will have to show:
- the application form for a short-stay visa (download the form);
- the documents mentioned in this list.
Document checklist for long stays in French Polynesia (more than 3 months)
Save in particular cases, you must obtain a long-stay visa, with the administration of the High Commission of the French Republic in French Polynesia at least 4 months (save in exceptional cases) before your departure for French Polynesia.
You will have to show:
- the application form for a long-stay visa (download the form);
- the documents mentioned in this list.
